Founded in 1999 with support from The King’s Trust, Tarem Services was created to address a persistent issue in the cleaning and facilities sector: essential workers often being paid low wages despite the vital role they play in keeping workplaces safe, clean and operational.
For over two decades, we have combined high-quality professional services with a clear social mission. Our aim is to deliver reliable services while creating fairer opportunities for the people who carry out this work every day. Today, Tarem Services delivers services across London and other areas including the Midlands, South East, South West and East of England.
Our Story
The idea behind Tarem Services came from first-hand experience of the challenges faced by cleaners working across London.
Many workers were travelling between multiple job sites for only a few hours of work, often earning low wages despite providing an essential service to businesses and communities.
Tarem Services was founded to demonstrate that a different approach was possible. A model where service quality, fair wages and social responsibility can exist together.
Over the years, the company has grown into a trusted provider of professional services while remaining focused on its founding purpose: improving opportunities for cleaners and other blue-collar workers.
